He was a great listener and said all the right things, but also, all the things that I have heard at previous gyms. What has been an extremely pleasant surprise however is unlike other gyms, all the things that Max spoke about and that TPH claim to offer were actually true! There is a great sense of community at this gym, and all of the members are genuinely friendly, encouraging and want to celebrate in each others success. The trainers are all fantastic too, they take the time to learn your name, discuss your goals and touch base to see how you are tracking all while keeping you accountable but in a way that is encouraging and understanding. I have always said that “I am not a gym person” as I never felt comfortable at a lot of gyms or like I fit the mould, however I have never felt MORE comfortable in a gym than I have at TPH. Their approach to fitness, nutrition, and general wellbeing is unlike any other gym I have experienced. They understand diet culture, the importance of nutrition and movement and also the difficulties that a lot of people face when it comes to kids, work, study and all the curve balls life throws.
